So June has been an exciting and busy month. My 17 year old son, Jeremy, just graduated from high school. He’s decided to pursue a degree in Mathematics with a specialization in Statistics. He’ll be going to a local college (Central) so I’m hoping we’ll continue to see him on a regular basis. I’m really proud of the young man he’s become. He has spent the past few years working as a soccer referee during the Fall and Spring. This is the first Summer he’s working a full-time job. He’s working outside at a water park and his first day was one of our hottest days at 93 or 94 degrees. He’s making minimum wage and said he didn’t know if he was cut out for this working business. My husband and I just laughed and then stressed the importance of higher education. He’s been at it for a few weeks now and seems to have adjusted.
My daughter, Nicole, is still into all things slime and having fun with her gymnastic friends. Our dog, Bailey, loves being outside and she brings lots of laughs and smiles to our family.
I’m still spending more time than I’d like learning how to run my website, but that’s okay, I’ll get it. I’m also trying to learn more about photography, so my plate is full, but I’m happy.
